Under the Sea Prom 

For prom season this year, Arietta Sarasota residents stepped onto the dance floor for an unforgettable “Under the Sea” Senior Prom. Guests dressed to impress, danced to big band favorites, and enjoyed delicious appetizers and drinks served by attentive staff. Inspired by the community’s connection to the Gulf Coast and local sea turtle conservation efforts, the elegant celebration brought residents together for an evening of fun, friendship, and nostalgia. Sweetheart Sock Hop at Arietta

For Valentine’s Day this year, Arietta residents and guests stepped back in time for a Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Sock Hop. Attendees dressed in poodle skirts and greaser-inspired outfits, danced to classic hits like “Jailhouse Rock” and “The Twist,” and enjoyed festive treats and decorations throughout the community. The heartwarming event, which was complete with live music from Jan and Sarah Douglas, captured the spirit, energy, and joy of living at Arietta. Check out our news coverage!

Arietta's 7th Annual Christmas Musical

Every December, our community comes together for a beloved holiday tradition. On December 22, 2025, our residents and team members will present our annual Christmas musical directed by resident Joan LaBash. Featuring festive costumes, a dozen holiday favorites, and even Santa in his summer suit, this joyful performance celebrates the season, creativity, and the strong sense of community our residents are proud to share.

Al Seidman's 100th Birthday Party

On August 28, 2025, our Arietta family came together to celebrate a truly special occasion - the 100th birthday of our beloved resident and friend, Al Seidman. It was a day full of smiles, music, and heartfelt memories as we honored Al’s incredible milestone and the vibrant spirit that makes our community shine. This is what life at Arietta is all about - laughter, connection, and moments worth celebrating.
